Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I started posting on this thread to keep tract of the progress I made over this past year. Never imagined how quickly time would past. I can't believe that I not only graduated but also graduated as Valedictorian! This whole journey has been a true blessing, one I will never forget.Congrats class of 2011, we did it! Yeaaa boy lol. Now on to bigger and better things...
To the class of 2012: stay focus, humble and dedicated and you will be successful. If I can do it....ANYONE can!! Good luck :)
Valedictorian...wow congrats thats amazing....I have followed this thread since it started and I was stationed overseas and keeping an eye on VEEBS and wondeing if it was an option...without you guys who post on here with info and advice I wouldnt feel so confident starting in september so I thank all past graduates of VEEBS for eveything. I hope I too can pass down your wisdom some day to future students:lol2:
Congrats!!! Congrats!!!I wonder why graduation is so late this year. The new class starts next Tuesday? There's usually a two week vacation for the instructors.
We actually started today Akanini..talk about being overwhelmed I should be stdying right now lol but I actually wanted to come in here real quick and find out if anyone is selling their books.
My last class is lab ! So 1255 it is ! Lol I love it thus far !
Nicole sounds like we are in the same class since lab is also my subject. Five hours in that school flies by rapidly since there is so much material to cover..So far I like all of the instructors, they are.extremly helpful and I love that the school is so organized when it comes to the outlines and modules...well im now preparing for oir safety quiz hope I do well lol..and CONGRATS to the class of 2011!!

From what I recall there were no test the first day. You guys start on a Thursday if I'm not mistaken, so you'll probably have ur first test the following Monday or so (which is the safety quiz).
The first day u are introduced to all the teachers and are given the modules. No real work the first day.
