VCU ABSN Summer 2021

Hi there!!

I applied to VCU's ABSN program for Summer 2021. I am so nervous being that we should get the yay or nay email on Monday. Has anyone else applied? Are you nervous? They said it was a holistic approach to acceptance, my GPA is a 3.49 for my undergrad so I am nervous

Hello, I received an email requesting my unofficial transcripts for the next two-semesters. The head person will be out of the office until tomorrow so it must have been a scheduled message. Good luck to everyone!

Hello! I received the same email this morning. I’m confused too. I’ve already completed my bachelor degree (biology of science) in Colorado and I assume you all have as well? I also have all the prerequisites that are required. Does anyone know what the email is regarding? Are there other requirements other than the two I mention? I thought I had everything. I just sent them my unofficial transcript from when I completed my degree.

I think it was a general email because I’m only missing one class which I’m finishing up this semester. But I sent mine from last Summer in October so I guess I’ll have to ask questions when he gets back in the office.

Hopefully we all completed the requirements in order to proceed in the program! I hope we will hear back from someone soon in regards to our status! Wishing the best for everyone. Due to the pandemic it made it challenging to figure out this whole process. I was moving during the beginning of April. Prior to applying I made sure to go over the checklist and all the information provided online. Finger crossed ??

I emailed the admission specialist and received an email saying that he is out of the office until January 5th. The college is closed from December 21st to January 4th. I don’t think we will be receiving an update until he gets back.

Hi guys I got accepted in November and have been following this forum. I was wondering if anyone has thought about making a FB page for accepted students? I am still waiting to hear back from Johns Hopkins but I am leaning towards VCU.
