Hello, I hope everyone is doing well during this time! I hope you were able to receive some good news! I receive an acceptance letter yesterday! Wishing the best for everyone who is currently on the waitlist.

Hopefully we all completed the requirements in order to proceed in the program! I hope we will hear back from someone soon in regards to our status! Wishing the best for everyone. Due to the pandemic it made it challenging to figure out this whole process. I was moving during the beginning of April. Prior to applying I made sure to go over the checklist and all the information provided online. Finger crossed ??

Hello! I received the same email this morning. I’m confused too. I’ve already completed my bachelor degree (biology of science) in Colorado and I assume you all have as well? I also have all the prerequisites that are required. Does anyone know what the email is regarding? Are there other requirements other than the two I mention? I thought I had everything. I just sent them my unofficial transcript from when I completed my degree.

Did anyone from this ASBN class get accepted or was offer admission after be placed on a waitlist? I am curious to know how many applicant are offer an acceptance before the program started in the Summer?

Hello, I am so relieved to come across this thread! Congratulations to those who got accepted. I have been waitlisted. This is my 3rd attempt applying to the ABSN program. This is my first time applying to VCU. I am from CO. My husband and I recently got stationed in VA. I completed my Bachelor in Biology of Science at MSU Denver in 2017. I’m getting close to the cutoff where my pre-requisites are about to be expired since some school only allows up to 10 years for completed coursework. I’m pretty devastated but I’m trying to remain hopeful. My grades for my pre-requisites are A’s and overall GPA is a 3.5. After reading some post, it appears that the students who were offered the seat are student who recently completed their degrees. I hope that everyone in the wait list is able to get in. I’m not sure what to expect since I know some people who were waitlisted in the previous year had to reapply this year. I am anxious and honestly I don’t know how to feel exactly. I did accept the waitlist offer and email the admission specialist back to ask so questions but I received a similar response as everyone else. I guess it’s a matter of waiting until the seat is open. I hope the best for everyone who is waitlisted. Make sure to look at other options now so you have an alternative! Best of luck to everyone!
