I don’t think there is one yet, but if anyone makes one they should post it here in this thread!

I can make one right now and I’ll send it here!

Hi, thanks for doing that,  I just requested.

Hi guys. Did anyone apply to Vanderbilt as a PreSpecialty master’s entry (entry with a BA/BS in a field other than nursing)? I want to know if anyone found a comparable program like Vanderbilt MSN program to apply to that offers pathway for non nursing degree applicants. Thx

Hi! Yes, I applied prespecialty but there are lots of programs. Some lead to NP, others to Clinical Nurse leader. I applied to Emory as well but there are programs at Johns Hopkins, Yale, and several others. I would just do a Google search, that is where I found the information and decided which schools I would apply to.

Hi, I applied with a BS in Chemistry. I found Case Western Reserve University to be fairly comparable; the program is just a little longer. A MN degree is earned first (2 years of Fall/Spring semesters), followed by MSN. The faculty and and staff are very friendly and helpful with answering any questions!

@simplebeauty1

thank you. I just looked up Emory and I’m liking what I’m seeing. Nice to see that I could start that program as early as Spring next year. Vanderbilt is my first choice but I got waitlisted for FNP and I need other options just in case.

As others have said, there a lot of programs! Some that lead to an NP specialty and some that are just general MSN while you get an RN. I also applied to Colombia, UCSF, UPenn, Yale, Oregon State Health University and Johns Hopkins for direct entry programs that lead to NP specialty

Ty so much ?

Last years thread they mentioned weekly information sessions were available to admitted students to be able to go and have your questions answered but I do not see anything about this. Does anyone have an idea where I can find this?
