Hey, Im applying to the fall 2022 Pre-specialty MSN program and I just wanted to open up a topic since I hadn't seen one yet

Anybody here apply to PMHNP in January receive any update on application? I’ve heard nothing ?

Does anyone know if the scholarship money  we receive from Vanderbilt is just deducted from our tuition or are we given the money through a deposit or something?

I also applied to PMHNP in January and haven’t received an update yet. Hopefully soon!

This wait is a tad torturous ? I hope we find out this week…

Hi guys. I attended the admitted students orientation today and they said they will begin pulling from the FNP waitlist most likely next week. They said the deposits for admissions for admitted students is due this Sunday. After Sunday, those that had accepted admissions but did not pay the deposit will forfeit their spot and go on waitlist and someone previously on waitlist will be offered their spot. 
 
They said movement on the waitlist is dependent on some of the following: admitted people not paying deposits this Sunday, people deciding to go elsewhere, people notifying them early of wanting to change their status as far as from full time to part time thus opening up a spot for a full time student on the wait list, etc.

Yes, I submitted mine second of January. I was told we’d hear the latest by tomorrow. I have a feeling we will hear today by 7PM EST because it’s “IVY DAY” today 3/31/22 and everyone announces the same time. I’m not sure why Vanderbilt has to go by this same timeline but….

Did they tell you tomorrow at the latest at the open house? I sure hope we do hear something by tomorrow.
