Vanderbilt Pre-Specialty Entry 2021

Published

I noticed there was not a thread created for Vanderbilt pre-specialty nursing for 2021, so I created one. Is anyone already preparing for this upcoming application cycle?

I was admitted to nurse midwifery!!

I also posted this on the other Vanderbilt Direct Entry forum, but does anyone know the cost for years 2 and 3? The PreSpecialty year seems to be 110k

I applied after the deadline but heard already. I was rejected ? I'm honestly not surprised as my application was a bit rushed due to applying after the deadline and they told me to submit it as soon as I could. I am very surprised though that I heard back already given that I was told I wasn't going to hear back until late March. Congratulations to all those that got in! ❤️

Mine still just says submitted. Guessing this means I didn’t get in? Any insight?

Chin up, I don't think it means that! It may be that they are releasing in waves through the day. I heard back already and I was rejected. I also applied after the deadline so I'm confused but at least I know already.

I was waitlisted for FNP! how are my other FNP applicants doing?

Just got accepted for PNP-PC! Any other pediatric applicants here? I can't wait to meet all of you!!

For those who got accepted, when does it say your deposit is due? Just trying to gauge when I will hear more info about being taken off the wait list!

To my understanding it says on my letter that the deposit is due on the last day we have to accept the offer, which is March 19th.

I got accepted into FNP! Congrats to everyone else and good luck to those waiting!

Got in for PMHNP!

Accepted to WHNP! I cannot even believe it. Anyone else here doing that track?

Also...does anyone else’s acceptance letter not mention the prespecialty year at all?

Mine still says submitted for AGAC-NP

I was waitlisted for NM. Not an acceptance, but not a rejection either! I have my fingers crossed for y'all

I was waitlisted as well... I am not sad, this was my first application.

I got into Pre-specialty FNP! Anyone else factoring the extremely high cost of tuition into their decision?
