I was admitted to nurse midwifery!!

The amount of times I have refreshed my portal and seen the word “submitted” and thought for a split second it said “admitted” ugh!!

I called just to see if they are open and an undergrad working the desk answered and said no one is really there and they are closing the doors in an hour. He didn’t know anything else

I’m not sure! I can’t find a thread from 2019. But also last year Friday was still earlier in the month.

I applied for Midwifery so I am different because NM speciality year is in Nashville and then clinicals are in places within 4 hours I think. I am not exactly sure how it works, but I talked to a recently graduated FNP student who said that she did her specialty year in CA because she had family there. From what I heard, faculty work with you to try to place you where you want to be as long as they have a preceptor there. Not guaranteed, but I hear that faculty really helps with the process and wants to put you somewhere that you will want to be and succeed. So I don’t think it’s a random placement.

Yes let’s hope I am right! Haha! I am getting so antsy.

Isn’t the third week of February starting the 15th?

Has anyone spoken to anyone at Admissions this year about a day that decisions would come out? I read the previous application cycle’s page and I saw someone commented that they spoke to Admissions and heard the news would come on the 14th, and it looks like it did.

It took a several days for the NetID to be posted.

Congratulations!! I received an email from the School of Nursing with information and then got an email from the University saying to check my VIP portal that showed I was admitted to the University. What does the VIP portal say? I think under student profile it will say your major/program of study.

Thank you! Yes, I have been emailing Jackie Behrens the nursing advisor. I paid my fee to save my seat and I think that is all that needs to be done right now.
