Vanderbilt Nurse Residency 2015

The application for the Vanderbilt nurse residency for February 2015 will open in August. Who all is applying? Does anyone have advice for those of us who will be applying?

mine says under consideration as well. as i was logging in my heart was racing SO FAST. what do you think this means for us!?! besides being under consideration......

For those of you with status changes, when did you interview? And for what units if you don't mind me asking. I don't have a status change but I interviewed at the very end and had been on the waitlist so I'm not sure if that changes anything.

I interviewed for the NICU on 10/30. It says my status was changed November 14th

i interviewed for the burn unit on 10/9 and the status was changed on 11/14

So I think it is safe to assume that this status change applies to everyone's application and does not correlate to our ratings.

Well my status hasn't changed so it might mean something good for those who did. I interviewed on 11/6

i interviewed 11/7 and mine has changed as well. what unit did you interview for jvanwey? a girl in my nursing cohort also interviewed at vanderbilt and her status has not changed so maybe they're doing it department by department?

Anywho, don't get discouraged! It's still anyone's ballgame :) I think I'm going to stop checking this and my email for a bit because I'm driving myself crazy! Have a wonderful week everyone!!
