  1. Congrats!!!!! I haven't gotten any email yet...no news is good news??? Fingers crossed
  2. Agreed! We'll just have to put our patience into full effect!
  3. Mine too! Could just mean we've interviewed, but hopefully it means that our interview points were high.
  4. I've had a few interviews for other residency programs that I feel went well and should hear back this next week so I'm going to be obsessively checking my email for a response from vandy since I'd 100% rather work there than anywhere else! But how can I turn down a job, and then get a no from vandy? Hoping these other places take longer than they said and vandy takes shorter ?
  5. haha, It's not even NOVEMBER 1st and I'm dying! I had my interview last Tuesday for the Pediatric Critical Care Track and everyone couldn't have been nicer. It was great meeting Tracey and my panel of 3 made me feel very comfortable even though I was so nervous! I feel like it went well as I had scenarios for each of their questions but we'll see I guess. Now it's the waiting game. Also, there was a girl who interviewed at the same time as me named Dani- I meant to get her email so if she happens to see this contact me. :-) I loved my day in Nashville though. Landed at 7:30am and flew out at 8pm! Hoping to head back in a couple weeks for a few more days, or maybe in December or January to find a place to live :-) Continuing to think of everyone with upcoming interviews- good luck!! Sarah
  6. Good luck to everyone interviewing soon, and fingers crossed for you Craig! I interview on the 21st at 2pm. I fly in that morning and plan to do the tour before I interview- getting nervous as I prepare. That's my biggest concern- being too nervous-because this is my dream position! It's been a year now almost since I graduated so it's easy to forget clinical experiences in that time. I'm hoping to draw from my summer as a camp nurse more recently!
  7. Hi everyone! I didn't want to post anything when I was applying because I didn't think I had a chance of getting an interview. I'm ecstatic to say that I have an interview for the Pediatric Critical Care track. I love this thread, and wish everyone the best of luck. Hopefully we'll be co-workers soon! I'll be driving/flying down from Chicago once I find out the date of my interview. Now time to prepare! :-)
  8. I'll actually be in Rhinelander this Summer, but grew up Summering in Minocqua and Lac du Flambeau so I know the area well. I almost applied to Camp Timberlane too!
  9. Hi all. I have just accepted a position in Northern Wisconsin near where I summer with my family in Minocqua. I am a new grad RN, graduated in October and have had a struggle finding a nursing position. I am hoping these 2 months will count as experience as I apply for jobs while I am there and hopefully secure a hospital position for the fall. There will be 2 other healthcare staff, an experienced RN and a paramedic. Any tips, good books, articles for me? I am nervous, but excited.
