Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Program Summer 2017

I know I am WAY ahead on this, but I just wanted to see who all was applying for VUMC nurse residency program in the summer 2017? The application opens up on December 9th and I want to apply for the Adult Critical Care Track! If anyone has any tips on the application, please feel free to comment! :) I know it's a long time coming, but I just want to see who out there will be applying!

Have all the ED people heard back? Or anyone received a rejection email? I havent heard either way!

I applied for ED but got a call today saying they couldn't offer me an interview for that track. They gave me some other options

Has anyone heard anything today? I applied for critical care and was really hoping to hear something before the weekend but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen.

I received a call back today, but unfortunately wasn't offered an interview in the original track I applied for. They gave me a list of other units to interview on. I feel blessed to have been offered to still interview!

I'm assuming you didn't trauma-ICU either :(

I got a call today I'm interviewing for adult surgical. I had originally applied for pediatric oncology, but due to the high number of applicants they're unable to interview me for that position. I'm very happy i got an interview... everything happens for a reason!

Have you chosen what track you want to interview for? I was at work when they called, so I unfortunately didn't get to speak with anyone. I tried calling after work, and the phone rang 3 times and disconnected. It was weird. So do I just email and request one track, or give them two top choices?

I also was given the opportunity to interview for another track, but I have a different job offer for an ICU, so I'm going that direction. Best luck to you all!
