  1. They called me today! They told me I'm in as long as I pass my boards next month and find a Labor and Delivery job so I have a year of full-time employment under my belt before I begin clinicals, so extra pressure now!
  2. It's frustrating have you heard back from anywhere else?
  3. I have not! On the website it says that they have extended the deadline to July 1. I emailed my contact person and they got back to me really quickly saying that i was a good candidate but they are debating my situation as a new grad so I am hoping the debate ends in my favor . Just happy it wasn't a flat out no. Hopefully it doesn't take much longer for us to know
  4. I'm glad you like it! For the clinical component will you be expected to live near campus?
  5. No I don't think it's rude at all, let me know what they say!!
  6. Just Wayne for now because I do not have any work experience and it was one of the few schools that accepted applicants without the GRE and work experience. I plan on applying to U of M once their application opens end of August. I went their for my undergrad so I am hoping that pulls some weight!
  7. Just twice, the last time was about a week ago when I was told the specialty coordinator was out and I'd hear back once they come back, but I wasn't sure what they meant by that. Out as in on vacation? Out as in they stepped out of the office for five minutes??
  8. I contacted them again and they said my specialty coordinator is currently out :/ have you heard anything back?
  9. Yes I have! She said that she could speed the process along and give me a decision really quickly if I had wanted too, I declined saying I'll wait but I really regret that now :x
  10. I have not! I was told on 5/2 that my application is going to review but I'm still waiting. I looked at the graduate school website for midwifery and they listed more information regarding graduation and board pass rates, it looks like they only accept 10 people in their midwifery program per cohort so I've lost a lot of hope í ½í¸”
