Vanderbilt MSN 2020

I just attended Vanderbilt's fall open house for the 2020 year and I'm really excited to be applying! I'm hoping to connect with other Vandey applicants so we can offer support and info along this process. I am applying to the post BSN dual CNM/ FNP program.

Hi guys! I just recently got my acceptance notification for the FNP program.
I will be doing the two year track from Missouri.

I was wondering if anyone knew if they were going to have the mandatory orientation online due to the coronavirus pandemic!

I've been accepted into the AGPCNP program at Vanderbilt for the MTA and Belmont's FNP program. I'm trying to decide which one would be a better fit. How has Vanderbilt's program gone for you? Are you having to travel far for your clinicals? Thanks for the help!

I absolutely love the program. I’m OMTA and my clinical is 10 min from my house (Houston). The professors are amazing, and my clinical preceptor said she wants to only take Vandy students from here on out. She said you can see a clear difference in how we are trained. I graduate in August, and feel I will be going into the workforce well prepared.

I know Belmont is a good school too, but I’m obviously partial to Vandy.

^^ This one is for those beginning the prespecialty year in august. I'm not sure if there is one for those directly going into their specialty year
