Vanderbilt MSN 2020

I just attended Vanderbilt's fall open house for the 2020 year and I'm really excited to be applying! I'm hoping to connect with other Vandey applicants so we can offer support and info along this process. I am applying to the post BSN dual CNM/ FNP program.

According to the in-person info session and the video info session decisions will come out the third week of February.... which is unfortunate for those of us who need to put down a deposit for another program by 2/14. ?

Yes, it is frustrating. I don't want to give up Vanderbilt. But the fact that the decision will only come after other schools' deadline to put down deposit will not give me any time to decide...

I have the dots when I view my application from Chrome, but not on Safari. At most I think it means reviewed, more probably just website formatting.

I think you can ask for an extension. Some schools are very generous with that

That sounds like a good idea. I think we are both accepted by a school that has a ddl on 2/14. Have you asked them for an extension yet?

For what it's worth, I have the dots on my UPenn application on my desk top but not on my phone browser as well. I think it's a formatting thing and probably doesn't mean anything special...

Haven’t asked both Yale and Columbia yet as I believe I have enough time to decide. But Johns Hopkins did give me an extension till the 14th. They honestly know you may have other options and different things go into making a decision. So they honestly are very flexible.
