Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

Exactly. At this point an informal yes you’re in would be nice and then a follow up formal letter would be fine. I wouldn’t care - I just want to know.

It is very disappointing how they are handling this.. especially because those who have called and emailed have received all different answers. It seems as though the decision is made, so they are just sitting on it because of the glitch --which is driving me crazy!!

This is getting quite ridiculous. They haven't been transparent or apologetic at all. They could at least send an update email to us about what is going on, so we aren't all just guessing and confused. Also, how do they expect those of us from out-of-state to blindly plan an expensive, last minute trip to Open House?

Is admitted students day separate from the open house?

I’m not planning to go to the open house even if i get in. I work that day and this is too short of a notice to ask for it off

I’m in state but 2 hours away and wouldn’t be able to go to that with such short notice.

No, they just have one part where the accepted students have an opportunity to talk to current students

Isn't the Open House in 2 weeks...and supposedly we wont hear until 2 weeks... Disappointed with Vanderbilt.

I'm 3 hrs away so IF I was to get in I would not be able to make it to Open House :(
