Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

This is so stressful. I went to Emory and, surprisingly, loved it (Vanderbilt had been my first choice up til then). But, the money will be a huge consideration for me.

Also, I have not received a clear explanation of these out of state clinicals we may have for Vandy. Does anyone have any more insight than, “You use the CoachSurf app and find somewhere to stay on your own”? ?

I would looooove to know if they will send out mailed decisions though.

I would also like to know this, haha.

If the glitch is just in the online system, maybe we will get the mailed decisions before?

Right? I feel like they could just give up on the portal and send out emails or letters!

I spoke with Sandy and she advised that we would receive an "EMAIL" indicating a status change in our application by the "END" of the month. There's some glitch in the system that is causing the delay.

This feels sooooo nerve wrecking!! I sure hope they fix it before the month's end. I am thankful for this site and all of the support from you guys.

Sigh. Why can’t fhey just send emails or standard letters at this point ?

So it sounds like they are not mailing decisions then....

I spoke with someone earlier and inquired whether or not we would still be recieving something through the mail even though the system is glitching and she said letters will be sent out when the email is sent with the status change of the application. With that being said, dont waste your time going to check the mail they havent sent a thing!

Correct! We won't be recieving the mailed decisions either until the end of the month. She said they will mail letters out and send out the status change email at the same time. Smh! the wait continues....

This is getting pretty annoying... I can’t focus on anything. I wish they would at least send something out to be considerate to those who have applied elsewhere. This is the only program I applied to, but I can’t imagine how nerve wracking it would be for those who are choosing between Vandy and other programs. I feel for you all!
