Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

I am applying pre-specialty, so I can't speak to the direct entry. However, Vandy one of the top programs in the country so it is very competitive over all.
As for your transcripts, don't worry! The same thing happened to me, they posted on the 2nd. Admissions told me that I will still be considered a priority applicant.
Good luck!!!
Hi there everyone! I applied to the AG-ACNP MSN program! My combined GPA is only a 3.4, but my application including all of my letters was complete before Nov. 1st, so I'm hoping I have a good chance. I will be coming in with 6.5 years of nursing experience, with the last 1.5 years in Intensive Care. I've been Active Duty in the Navy Nurse Corps since 2012 and will be discharging in April of next year. Vandy is my #1 choice, but I'm applying to one more state school just so I don't have all my eggs in one basket. After I went to their open house last year I was amazed at the faculty and their breadth of knowledge, as well as their kind and compassionate demeanors. I can't imagine going anywhere else!
Anyone else applying to the Direct Entry Acute Care program?
Also, quick question to anyone who went to the open house this year... I see the AGACNP page now has a listing for a BSN-DNP curriculum plan, but there was only a MSN option listed for this application cycle, did they mention any information about that?
Good luck to everyone! February can't come soon enough!
I applied for the WHNP/AGNP dual specialty. I had a pre-nursing GPA of 4.0, ADN GPA 3.6, and my RN-BSN GPA 4.0. I have only been a nurse since June this year and work in a cardiac progressive care unit. I had recommendations from a clinical instructor, my director, and another manager on my unit.
My nursing degree and pre-nursing was at community college and my RN-BSN is with Grand Canyon University. I think my personal statement and questions were solid however I feel my chances of matriculation are low, what do you all think? I got my stuff in on time, so that's going for me! :)

With a GPA like that, it will sure open doors for you! I was told (by the AGACNP director) that they rely heavily on the personal statement when making decisions, so if you're confident with that I'm sure you'll do great!
Did anyone receive a note that their transcripts weren't in? I turned mine in a month ago but recently found out they didn't receive two of them... today I finally found out that two of the transcripts I ordered were considered "unofficial" by admissions???? I have no idea why that would be, since I paid for them and had them sent through the national clearinghouse, but now I don't know what to do other than order more transcripts and pray they get there on time. Has anyone had this problem? I wish they would have told me this back when I sent them in and not after the deadline for priority applications has past...
