Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

You do not have to apply separately. It's a basic amount they give due to the general cost of the school.

Is this amount $7,000 awarded to you on admission letter?

I touched base with my interviewer today and she said keep an eye out for an admissions decision in 7-10 days!

I can't confirm that it's $7,000, but if I recall, it is awarded upon admission. Either that or closely on the heels of admission.
I am new to financial aid FAFSA. Is it granted or is it a loan?

@anonymous916 Did you apply for pre-specialty ( if so which specialty) or direct entry?

Hi VwBee89! I applied pre-specialty for dual focus midwifery and FNP. So, the interviewer I had been in touch with was for midwifery, as there are no FNP interviews. I applied before Nov 1 and interviewed with her back in early December.

Hey guys, jumping in! I had a SUPER last minute interview on Tuesday! They called me Tuesday morning to set up an interview for later in the day for pre-speciality PMHNP. I had all but given up hope at this point. Like LCSW, I applied late last year and was waitlisted. I have my other descions already but am really hoping to be getting some good news from Vanderbilt in a week or so! It’s by far my first choice. The interviewer said there will not be a delay in decisions for pre-specialty PMHNP, they’ll be released mid-February. Good luck everyone!

How many of you are already nurses and are applying for the PMHNP program? So not the prespecialty students. And have any of you heard back yet? Thanks.

Hey! I had my interview back in mid January. I was told that we would hear back mid February

I didn’t have an interview (which admissions told me is very sporadic for this one) and I applied to the ACAGNP. I am applying with my BSN.
