Nursing Students Post Graduate

Hi! I'm starting a thread for Fall 2018. Anyone else applying too? Please comment!

Let's make a pact. I'll call if I know you or other people will. The wait for results from all my schools is just killing me!

And someone mentioned above that all PMHNP candidates receive an interview. I don't believe this to be true at all, I figured surviving to interviews was "round 1". Can someone confirm this?

I was told in my Peds interview that all qualified candidates were being interviewed.

Mmmm I don't know about Peds but I was told that Psych interviews are not for all applicants. Can someone confirm? Thanks!

Does the Women's Health NP have to interview? And also how heavily do GRE scores impact admission, does anybody know if they dont accept people for low GRE scores or do they look at all factors of applicants (GPA, personal statement, recommendation letters, etc.)

They stressed at the open house that they really look at the whole package.

okay thank you

Did anyone know when the direct entry for acute adult NP will hear back yet? Thanks

I have an interview today and I am an RN who applied for PMHNP but I applied for part time so I assume they are probably getting close

Good Morning @BamaOSU,

First, congratulations on the interview, how did it go? Did you apply for the Part-Time BSN to PMHNP or the ADN to PMHNP? Also, are you going to be local or a distant student? Trying to figure out where they might be on the list. Again, congratulations on the interview and hopefully I will have the opportunity to meet you later this year!

Thanks! It went well I think. It was an easy conversation but hard to tell if you left a good vibe haha. I am BSN to NP and I am a distant student. They told me to expect to know in early March which is way later than I have heard anyone else say. But maybe I will still know in Feb like every one else

So some PMHNP people were saying interviewers said decisions might be made January 22nd/23rd... is it reasonable to say if we haven't heard anything by then, we're out? is it at all possible to get in for PMHNP without being interviewed?

I think around mid-February as well. I applied as a pre-specialty AG-ACNP. The waiting game lingers on!

In my PMHNP interview today and they said decisions may not even come out until March. I applied by the Nov 1 deadline. Do you think this means bad things for me? So nervous.
