So do you think 2nd round decisions will start being sent out tomorrow?

@KMD51 - I did not apply anywhere else as this was my first choice for PMHNP. I have followed a few graduates and feel like they are what I want to become; still holding out. Summer applications are due next week for my local state schools but am going to go all in and hold out. Worst case scenario I have to wait a year but get more experience.

I am on the " I have not heard anything since my interview list". At this point I have heard nothing back so am trying to patiently wait as I had my application in on 09/15/2017. My hope is that no news is good news :-) I am still holding out hope!

Good Afternoon, I am a round one applicant who interviewed Feb 13th. I called today and they said PMHNP decisions will go out for round 2 at the end of March. -So there is still a chance :-)

@Ripetomatoes what program did you apply to? I am still waiting to hear back, something, anything.

Same, however they asked that I not repeat anything from my application responses. I told my story of why I wanted to purse psych in my summary. I definitely felt like I repeated my responses.

I applied for the PMHNP - ADN to MSN. They definitely did not let me talk much, it was very much them asking direct questions and wanting direct answers. I have a feeling it was just personality and they where trying to stay very professional.

I had my interview yesterday for 10:30 am and they called at 10:45 am, and could not tell at all how it went. Did anyone else experience that during their interview? The only application question they asked was how I would separate church from work. I thought it was weird but at the same time they probably wanted to make sure I wasn't a nut, which is cool. I really could not tell if the curt and shortness was due to personality, being rushed with time, or disinterest with me as a candidate; I hope it was the former. Still hopefully optimistic.

I applied Middle TN but would be willing to be OTMA if it were offered. I have equity in my house and the cost of living in TN is so much lower with the TN property tax rate. Housing is booming here so it is a great time to sell.

I am in Texas but plan on selling and moving to Clarksville. I have good friends there and want to practice in an underserved area.

@wannabepmhnp I received an invite to interview for February 13th. When I called in they said, admission decisions come in waves. The admissions people said, they have hundreds of emails to send and it is not feasible to get them all out in one day. She also stated, that there would not be a definitive date but they would try to send decisions out the second or third week of February. Also, each specialty sends their decisions to admissions at different times thus we will receive the responses differently. I am beyond excited to receive the interview. I applied for the ADN to PMHNP, during my last semester of nursing school. I passed boards about two weeks ago. It is still so fresh that I forget to respond "nurse" when people ask what I do. I am so happy with my decision to go back to school and pursue my dreams, and the plan I made 4 years ago is falling in place. Any tips on interviewing? -Chappie

Good Morning @BamaOSU, First, congratulations on the interview, how did it go? Did you apply for the Part-Time BSN to PMHNP or the ADN to PMHNP? Also, are you going to be local or a distant student? Trying to figure out where they might be on the list. Again, congratulations on the interview and hopefully I will have the opportunity to meet you later this year!

Do you have any recommendations on books/study materials/videos to get a jump on advanced pharm. & patho.?
