Hello everyone! I haven't seen a thread for the fall program so I thought I'd start one. I applied to the Women's Health track and I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear back! Looking forward to connecting with you all ?

Same. I’m super bummed and thought the interview went really well. The waitlist notification was so vague and I don’t understand if it’s for the NICU or the residency in general.

Are we legally allowed to back out before October when the job starts if we accepted the offer?

Hi Guys,

So I reached out on the waitlist issue. Tracey Fargo with the residency program answered. The waitlist is not track or unit specific. Those on waitlist will be contacted as new positions open or other people back out if VUMC thinks they may fit the open position. I do not know if you will have to interview again for these positions. She also did not comment on the timeline. So I assume they can contact you anytime from now until September as the email states.

I have emailed the recruiter about this just today. I haven’t accepted my position yet bc I’m waiting on her to reply! I can let you know what she says whenever she replies

So I also got waitlisted. I interviewed for SICU. Thanks for reaching out to Tracey Fargo. Thats good information. I have heard other previous cohorts, people on the waitlist have gotten hired. Anyone know anymore about that?

She is very quick to reply. It should be within one business day from my experience. If anyone hears any updates, please share with the rest of us. Any information helps so much!

She might be taking longer because of having to call and email job offers!
