Vandy's application opens tomorrow! I am so anxious to start the application. There is a Pre-Specialty thread already started so I want to start this one for direct entry. Post questions, comments, experiences, and anything else. Good luck everyone! You've got this!

I think my whole application was submitted either 10/14 or 10/15 but no later.

I applied for PMHNP before priority deadline as well and still haven't heard anything. fingers crossed!

What's your last name? I'm trying to see if there doing it by first letter of last name... grasping at straws here ?

My last name is S... last year I was waitlisted and found out the same time as everyone else. take that as you will!

Makes no sense why those that applied by the deadline haven't found out. I applied late. There's a few others that applied late that did find out so who knows...there was a change in the portal on mine 3 weeks ago which makes me think did review mine (comments under my transcripts??)

Did you have movement off the waitlist? Any idea how the wait list works? Are we ranked or how do they determine who they pull from it?

last year psych didn't move anyone from the waitlist due to the changes with COVID. only reason I found this out in because in July/ Aug I called admissions to ask about movement. they never stated anything

For those who are waitlisted and completed the form to be placed on the wait list, do you know if it is beneficial to upload updated resumes and such? Thanks ?

Any new information you provide can be beneficial.  You can also wrote a letter of intent. I plan on doing that.
