  1. Message me to get added to the group on FB! Kaitlin, I sent you a message ?
  2. I'll start one! Message me your name on here for me to find ya ? Anyone else want to join a FB page for direct entry students?
  3. Ha! I’m part time too. I say we start one!
  4. Thank you! What program are you waiting to hear on? Fingers crossed for ya!
  5. Thanks! Is there a FB page yet for direct entry? Would love to chat with everyone else accepted ?
  6. Wanted to update-I applied mid-January and found out today I was accepted! I'm direct entry but gives hope that they are moving through late apps.
  7. I applied in mid-January to the direct entry AGACNP program. Just found out I got in!! Is there a link to the facebook page for admitted students? Thanks!
  8. Nope! I called and was told the same thing....patiently waiting. What program are you waiting to hear from? Fingers crossed that CRNA works out for you! I am waiting to hear about my app to the AGACNP program so you give me hope that there may still be spots ?
  9. I didn't apply priority-I applied in January. I called today and was told that I should know in 1-2 weeks max. What specialty did you apply to?
  10. To anyone still waiting (like me!)....I called today and was told anytime in the next 1-2 weeks...my app is under evaluation and I was told there is still room in the track I applied to. Fingers crossed....who else is still waiting to hear?
  11. So sorry to hear this. What specialty/program did you apply to? It is frustrating they didn't tell you it was full (that's what it sounds like...) before you applied. Just think of it as great practice for applying in the fall!
  12. I applied late so waiting to find out if I got in but happy to share...I've been a nurse for 18 years-background in critical care and organ transplant. I got my ADN in 2003 and my BSN in 2019. My GPA for my BSN was 4.0. Not sure if they look at that or my ADN which was a 3.6 I think...I also was in a MPH program and had taken 5 classes (including stats) but decided I wanted to go a clinical route and withdrew. I had a 4.0 in that program. I got a letter of rec from my direct boss who is the director of transplant (I currently work in organ transplant), a cardiologist who is the director of heart failure, VAD and the heart transplant program at our institute and a surgeon who is the surgical director of kidney transplant at our program. I applied to the AGACNP route.
  13. Ha! I love your hypothesis. When did you apply? What specialty? I applied in early Jan for AGACNP. No news yet...I have no idea what to think...I'm hoping it means they didn't give me a no right off the bat and are waiting to see how many commit before extending me one (but then why not waitlist me?). No clue...
  14. I called on Tuesday and asked and was told it could be until mid-March but that my round was being reviewed already....I don't think they'll really wait that long but who knows...
