Vanderbilt 2021 Direct Entry

Published

Hey guys!

Vandy's application opens tomorrow! I am so anxious to start the application. There is a Pre-Specialty thread already started so I want to start this one for direct entry. Post questions, comments, experiences, and anything else. Good luck everyone! You've got this!

Hey everyone, I didn't receive an email, but I logged into my Vanderbilt application account and an update was issued today. Check now! I hope you all get accepted! I was wait listed into the PNP program.

I am refreshing every few minutes LOL!!

Y’all I’m too scared to check!!

I was denied ? I honestly thought I would atleast be waitlisted.

Wait listed! Anyone know how many come off the wait list and how they are drawn?

Did anyone get a decision  who applied after the priority deadline?

Specializes in Psych and ER.

I was accepted to the PMHNP program!!

For anyone wondering, I just searched the cost and it says "For example, the cost of attendance for 2020-2021 for a full time Pre-Specialty MSN student enrolled in three semesters is $110,386", a bit more than I had expected.

Does anyone know how much years 2 and 3 will each be? Thanks

I applied after. No decision in there yet.

I was unfortunate denied for PMHNP. I was surprised that I didn’t get at least waitlisted as I had leadership experience in a psych org and research experience. Oh well. Good luck everyone!

I applied after the priority deadline and was wait listed. Does anyone see where exactly we’re supposed to sign up on the list?

I also did not receive an e-mail from Vandy but I checked my online application and I see that I was ACCEPTED!! I will be starting the specialty FNP program this fall! Congrats to all those who were accepted or waitlisted... and to those who did not receive the news that they were hoping for... know that you simply ran into a Yield sign, NOT a Stop sign and that it is still very much within your power to achieve your dream of becoming a NP.
