Hello! I couldn't find any threads about Valencia for fall 2015 so I thought I'd make one. I've applied to UCF for fall but I've also applied for Valencia and will be be applying for the concurrent program as well, come may. So I thought hey, I may end up in Valencia's generic ASN track or the concurrent with Valencia/UCF so I wanted to start this thread up to seek out anyone else in the same position. Hello fellow hopefuls, how are you? Anxious? Excited? Impatient?

Alright! I bought my stethoscope (teal with my name engraved as well!), blood pressure cuff, lab coat, Dansko shoes in white leather, a new watch with a second hand, and I'm doing my drug test and fingerprints on Monday! Physical is next week and additional blood work for titers. I'm actually getting stoked about ceasing my social life for the next two years! lol How is everyone else coming along with their paperwork!?
how did you get with the name?
Everyone said Dansko were the best but they were sooo expensive. Maybe I'll have to buy a pair when I finish the first semester lol I am way behind compared to you guys :/ It's seriously like pulling teeth trying to get shot records, I still need a lot of shots clearly. I go Thursday to get my drug test. Where is everyone going for fingerprints? It gave me 4 more requirements once I uploaded that waiver.
I also got my letter on June 18 and I applied on May 7 so they took quite a while to answer!! I can't wait to start.. Where did u ladies get the stethoscope engraved? And how big does the cuff has to be? And any specific brand for the watch? Almost orientation time can't wait to meet u ladies :)
I purchased my Stethoscope online, and the manufacturer engraved it at no charge... I think it was
MyStethoscope.com... It was a Littman Classic III
As for the vaccination records, I've chased down every imaginable alley way to find these records! I finally found most of them on the bottom of my high school transcript.
With the chickenpox vacc, I had the pox before the vaccination came out, so I have to have titers drawn. I've completed my drug test, fingerprinting, and background check! I just need my physical and titers for the pox. It's getting so CLOSE!
Anyone have any idea what else we can grab before orientation? (I've got the lab coat, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, watch, and shoes) I was wondering if there are specific style scrubs we have to buy (I know they have to be white).
TIA!
