Valencia College Spring 2016

Hello everyone,

I know it may be a little early but who will be applying to Valencia's nursing program for spring 2016? I will be submitting my application next week and I just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone submitted their application already!

Hey I was wondering where can I go to do my CPR certification for the compliance because the one VC doing is after the deadline date.

Really wow I didn't know they were accepting students that didn't have a 78% score on teas but Congratulations!!!!

78 is for Seminole state college that's why I ended up at Valencia

Florida Hospital has a nice one but I am not sure how expensive it is. I got it there

Ok so it doesn't matter where we get the certification from or it has to be a place VC approve of?

it has to be certified by the American Heart association so be careful where you get it from I took it from Florida hospital to be safe

I see, I just picked the citizen for CPR that is on the list VC gave us so I should be safe they have a class every Saturday

Yeah I think as long as it's American heart association certified you'll be fine. So don't do any of the online courses lol

hey another quick question, what version of the dosage calc book do we need? I want to start trying to understand and practice because I am terrible at math and nurses at my work said they will help me if I get the right book so they can see how they are teaching it these days. Thanks!

that is the one I have because it was cheaper and it's pretty much the same it's up to you with one to get. it's not that hard I tought it would be horrible but it's pretty easy I have practice exams that I can share with you guys
