Valencia College Spring 2016

Hello everyone,

I know it may be a little early but who will be applying to Valencia's nursing program for spring 2016? I will be submitting my application next week and I just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone submitted their application already!

Specializes in Cardiac ICU.

Do I have to wait for my email instructions to start on the certified profile things? I need to start buying books as well. So much to plan.

yeah they send out an email giving specific instructions on how to access certified profile website. Just a warning it does cost $190 just to access, but they allow you to make payment plans if you cannot afford it all at once. and that cost includes your background check. I would start finding your shot records to save money on having to pay for titers, get your flu shot and keep a record of it, get your CPR cert through AHA. You have to scan and upload all of your paperwork on the certified profile website so make sure you have access to a scanner. also you can see the books required for the current semester on valencia bookstore website, but be careful because some things might change from one semester to the next!

Yeah same here I don't know what to do so I emailed the Health Science department. Waiting for a reply.

Well I looked up my background check report in the certified profile documents and it says that my previous employers have not been verified so idk what we can do? I am going up to the school tomorrow to turn in my change of major form so I'll ask them and I'll let you know what they say.

okay so I went to turn in my change of major form and the women who would be able to help me were not there. they gave me one woman's card with her direct email and phone #. I did notice though that today my background check went through without my employment being verified so I don't think it matters. but here is her info if you want to contact her directly.
