Valencia College Spring 2016

Hello everyone,

I know it may be a little early but who will be applying to Valencia's nursing program for spring 2016? I will be submitting my application next week and I just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone submitted their application already!

I should hear something by next week. A friend just got their email and they were a week ahead of me.. Only their application got denied for not meeting the GPA, which doesn't help us figure out if we'll get into spring..

Hey so I just got the email that has the orientation information but I was wondering, do I HAVE to get titers done? Or if I have my original shot record can I use those? Thanks again for all the help!

if you got your shot records I guess you won't have a problem, you will have plenty of time once you upload the shot info the will approve it within 3 days. they will provide you forms. DONT FREAK OUT you will have plenty of time

That's good it will save me a little bit of money. Glad I am like my mom and save EVERYTHING haha perfect for times like this.

that's the form they might give to you, get the flu shot, if you don't you are going to wear a mask during clinicals and that's not a good idea

I meant I'm worried about if I have a chance of getting in next semester since they filled up the spring 2016 class.

I wonder what is their criteria when they accept students. I notice that this fall they accepted a lot of students from SSC (I am one). I could not believe I got accepted right away, it took 3 week to get the letter my grades weren't that amazing my teast score was 71 and gpa 3.7, I applied before spring semester was over. there are students that give up their seat once they are accepted in the concurrent or can't afford to pay for the shot and certified profile . I think they accept 80 for West campus and 40 for osceola
