Valencia college Nursing Summer 2014

I was wondering if any of you guys will be starting nursing school at Valencia summer 2014. I'm really nervous. I don't know anyone that's currently in nursing school nor anyone who will be starting. Also, could any of the previous nursing l students give any ideas about what to expect.

I agree with your if it were easy everyone would be doing it. I think they will work with us on hep shots because they know it's a three series shot. I signed up for the CPR class at Valencia they offer one every month for 40

Oh and as for dosage practice. If you go under your nursing section in atlas they have 7 practice tests.

Under the nursing section then go to resources and then there should be a tab that says dosage practice tests

I must be blind or something but where is the nursing section

Go into atlas then the students tab then scroll all the way down and it's a button at the bottom to the left. :) hope this helps

I don't have that option yet I guess. Maybe because it still says I'm pending admission

Hmm mine says pending admission too but I still have the button maybe check back tomorrow. If you don't have it tomorrow you can pm your email and I can just email them to you. Can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow!

I sent them an email to let them know I don't have access to the secure nursing website. I still don't have the nursing section under the students tab so hopefully they will figure out why before we register. I do have a question. Are we suppose to get those white nursing shoes or any white leather shoe will suffice?

From what I understand is any white shoe will do as long as it's all white

That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. It was really overwhelming but I think we will be ok. I'm starting in the dosage book tomorrow.
