UW DNP program

Published

Hello to anyone out there applying to UW DNP or currently in the program. I am applying to fall2015. I am wondering about ability to work and attend the program. Also are there any of you with children/family?, working? and able to keep up the load? How many students does the program accept. What is your track? I am interested in FNP track and very anxious about making into the program. I know it's quiet competitive. Please respond if you have any insight and would like to share your experience. Thank you.

Reviving this thread for the Fall 2016 cohort.

I applied to the AGNP-AC track. Anyone else out there?

Yes I applied for AGNP-AC track! Anxious to see what happens....hate this waiting game

I applied for Fall 2016 as well, but for the Nurse Midwifery track! Anxious to hear back..

Hi JustD16, I applied for the midwifery track for 2016, and I seem to be in a similar situation as you were. I will be graduating this June with my BSN, and so I have no RN experience. If you don't mind me asking, did you end up getting into the program? Thanks!

Good luck to you Lorambo!

Thank you, Migsie1! You too!!

Hi all - FNP track applicant here! Do we hear in a few weeks? It looks like last year's cohort heard near the end of March. :):)

Hi mzjanedoe! I am hoping we'll hear back the week of the 21st or 28th! I am not sure if they tell everyone at the same time or if the different tracks are informed separately. Hopefully we will know within the month, though!!

I'm really hoping between the 14th-28th...the year before last heard by the 14th!! I'm already going crazy with this waiting :D I'm excited to hear but also nervous. I honestly don't know if I'll make it. Ah well. Good luck to all and good vibes!!!

Hoping our acceptance letters are here by next week because this waiting game is brutal

Got my rejection letter in the mail yesterday. Best of luck to all! (I'm heading to SPU - decision made easy :)
