  1. Hi everyone - I'm a NP student wrapping up my first clinical quarter, and am short hours because my preceptor has variable days in clinic. I have had about 5-6 days with her over the last quarter. We had a fairly good rapport however she was extremely diligent about getting charting done, gave me a lot of hands on experience, but little critical feedback or reflection after patient interactions. Mostly just, "It will come with time and experience, you will get your flow." I'm fairly awkward as a learner - it's just a rough place to be. But I'm pretty sure I'm being ghosted by my preceptor, who has failed to respond to two texts regarding my request for a few more days with her. I don't want to involve my school really - we're all adults here, if she doesn't want to work with me, she should just say so, correct? But it feels awful. Thoughts/experiences? I've been a good student I think. Showed up on time, worked hard, asked questions, stayed late to chart. Thanks all.
  2. That paper thin envelop tipped me off when I checked my mail But I also think for anyone who gets rejected, applying again next year looks very strong. So you are on their radar for sure!
  3. Oh I'm totally cool with it. I was a little burned yesterday and went for a long run but honestly the financial cost of UW was horrible and I probably wouldn't have been able to work while at UW as much as I can at SPU (part time program). The SPU application was straightforward and I didn't need the GRE. I don't think I was a very strong candidate for UW (a few bad grades during nursing school, and only two years work experience). But c'est la vie. I'm sure they're going to have a great group of you and we'll all be colleagues in a few years!
  4. Got my rejection letter in the mail yesterday. Best of luck to all! (I'm heading to SPU - decision made easy :)
  5. Hi all - FNP track applicant here! Do we hear in a few weeks? It looks like last year's cohort heard near the end of March. :):)
  6. Hi all - any updates from anyone regarding applications? Looking forward!
