  1. Hi everyone! Congrats to all that were accepted- such a great accomplishment! I was wondering if any of you applied to the DNP/FNP program and were accepted??
  2. Thanks for your reply, SoberGirl. I'm also from the midwest and am happy to hear that you are satisfied with your choice and are enjoying Seattle. I have decent grades and pretty good recommendations, but am hung up/most stress about my personal statement. Do you have any tips when writing a solid personal statement? I feel like that will either make or break me!
  3. Hi SoberGirl, I know I am super late to the conversation, but I am currently searching for grad schools and am between the University of Washington and the University of Illinois at Chicago. I was wondering how you were liking UW and if you are happy with your choice? Also, do you have any tips when applying to these schools? Thanks!!
  4. Hi all, I am a new grad nurse very interested in the DNP/FNP program at the University of Washington. As many of you know, UW is highly competitive and is ranked #4 in the nation for nursing graduate school (I believe!). I have sifted through numerous past threads about the UW DNP/FNP program and noticed many members have been accepted to their program. As a new grad very eager to continue my education and very interested in the UW DNP/FNP program, do those individuals who have applied to the UW DNP/FNP program have any advice for those applying for the fall of 2016 (more specifically on the essay/personal statement)? Your comments would be very much appreciated! Thank you :)
  5. Hi everyone! Sorry I'm so late to the conversation! I just passed my boards and have been looking at potential graduate schools (DNP/FNP track) for the fall of 2016. The University of Washington is a top pick and I was wondering for those who've gotten accepted- do you have any tips for the personal statement/essays? Thank you!! :)
