Hello to anyone out there applying to UW DNP or currently in the program. I am applying to fall2015. I am wondering about ability to work and attend the program. Also are there any of you with children/family?, working? and able to keep up the load? How many students does the program accept. What is your track? I am interested in FNP track and very anxious about making into the program. I know it's quiet competitive. Please respond if you have any insight and would like to share your experience. Thank you.
Oh I'm totally cool with it. I was a little burned yesterday and went for a long run but honestly the financial cost of UW was horrible and I probably wouldn't have been able to work while at UW as much as I can at SPU (part time program). The SPU application was straightforward and I didn't need the GRE. I don't think I was a very strong candidate for UW (a few bad grades during nursing school, and only two years work experience). But c'est la vie. I'm sure they're going to have a great group of you and we'll all be colleagues in a few years!
If anybody gets any kind of notification for acceptance/rejection to the 2016 DNP program, could you please tell the rest of us so we know to be on the lookout?? I am out of town until Wednesday and am so nervous to look in my mailbox when I get home I applied to the FNP track... any other FNP applicants out there??

That sucks! Sorry @mzjanedoe. You're the first one to get anything (or at least let us know).
How hard was the app for SPU? Did you have to take the GRE?
