Hello to anyone out there applying to UW DNP or currently in the program. I am applying to fall2015. I am wondering about ability to work and attend the program. Also are there any of you with children/family?, working? and able to keep up the load? How many students does the program accept. What is your track? I am interested in FNP track and very anxious about making into the program. I know it's quiet competitive. Please respond if you have any insight and would like to share your experience. Thank you.

All I know is that your grades count for 25/100 pts. Each part of the application has a certain amount of weight and grades are 25%

I called the school and was told that they will send out notices by March or April at the latest! 2 more months! The horrible wait...

Took a look at the old threads. Past ones also said they would be getting notice as late as April but the notices were sent, at the earliest, by the second Thursday in March. Hopefully we should be hearing back in a little over 2 weeks or so.

2 weeks would be fantastic! I hate waiting!

When I initially signed in it would not let me leave a comment but now I can :). Hi everyone! My name is Jaya and I live in TX. I applied for the Fall 2015 semester. I read from previous post they heard as early as mid-March. Definitely ready to hear back :). The next two weeks will be nerve racking! J

I'm really hoping we find out this week! It looks like in years past it was mid-March.

This week would be awesome :)! Waiting patiently and anxiously, lol.

My coworker got her acceptance letter, so hopefully everyone will hear very soon!

Congrats to your coworker!!!!!

I still haven't gotten anything. I wonder if it depends on the track. Being that fnp is the most popular it might take longer than the others???

what track did your coworker apply for?

I applied for the fnp and got a denial letter yesterday...

Better luck next yeah I guess.

I'm so sorry, there's always next year! I'm only in my first of year of being an RN so I guess I'm preparing for a rejection as well. But we'll see. I feel like it's so competitive right now
