Uw & Wsu Bsn Applicants 2009

Published

Hello,

I am a long time reader of the boards. I am applying to both UW and WSU (yakima campus) BSN program and am trying get feedback from past applicants on competitiveness of the matriculation process - tips on interviews or any other general information.

I look forward to your feedback!

~thanks.

That would be nice to find out by the end of March! Did you apply anywhere else, 2bcurious?

I did.. WSU Spokane, PLU, TCC, and one out of state....

PLU and TCC are on my list too, so it sounds like chances are good we'll cross paths in nursing school. :)

It's a small world! I also applied to WSU-Spokane. I got my BS from WSU-Pullman a few years ago. Who knows where people will end up, but it's fun to contemplate! Best of luck! :specs:

'anyone heard about UW BSN notification by any chance?' I'm just going off the initial info on the admissions blog that people will know decision by 15 April... :)

Not a word, and the waiting is getting a little tiresome! :)

Lol! I saw this thread had been bumped, and got all excited... April fools on me, looks like! ;)

I too am still playing the waiting game. :(

UW Hopefuls (myself included...) LETTERS HAVE BEEN MAILED.....

Good luck to all...

Admission Process Complete

Final admissions decisions for all programs have been made. Letters notifying all applicants to all programs of admissions decisions have been mailed. Applicants offered admission must respond to the School of Nursing in writing by the date noted on the letter of admission regarding their intent to attend.

Specializes in ICU.

Did anybody get letters today?? 2 of my friends did! They are so excited!

I got my letter today. Rejected. I have well over 10,000 hours of hands on healthcare experience, all my prereqs done with a 4.0, I volunteer 2 nights a week and I had a glowing recommendation.

I am crushed.

Congrats to those who did get in.

I wasn't accepted either :(

I wish all waiting for notification the best of luck... I found out I was accepted and am very excited and humbled as well... I look forward to an ongoing thread of information of future classmates for our upcoming fall start.
