UW ABSN Summer 2017

Hi all!

I am applying in fall for the 2017-2018 cohort and I know I am making this post pretty early but I am super anxious about this whole process! I would love and be so thankful for any advice, statistics, and info about personal experience/academic background from previous applicants/alumnis. I would also love to meet the people who are applying right alongside me! It is always great to have support. :)

Congratulations! It would be great if people from the wait list could post if they get an offer so we know where it's at! I personally haven't gotten an update from Adrian since April 10th.

I found out today and accepted a spot! I was number 13. Simone called, said Adrian was out of office for a few days.

I emailed Simone this morning and she confirmed that the wait list had moved 13 spots.

Hi guys, I am plannning to apply to this program for start next summer! Does anyone have any advice to offer for the application process, advice on how to make your application stronger?? Thanks in advance, any advice will be appreciated!

Is anyone interested in sharing where they are on the waiting list? I was originally #21....if the list has moved up 13 spots then I should be #8. From what I can find online, last year they waitlisted 37 people and admitted 25 or so of those. The waiting is really tough, especially since I want this so bad!!!

I was originally 16 and Simone confirmed that I had moved up to #3 as of Tuesday morning. I haven't heard any updates since then.

Just got a call from Adrian andI am now #1 on the waitlist just in case anyone is following. Biting my nails for the next few days to see if I make the cut! It's been a long 5 months waiting!

The waiting is over...I just got off of the phone with Adrian and was offered an acceptance to the UW School of Nursing ABSN program!!! I am super excited to meet the rest of my cohort and embark on this awesome journey!!!!
