I figured I would start a new thread for people applying to the UVA CNL Program for 2016. I have to admit I'm pretty nervous about applying, and I really hope it all works out. I'm graduating from Virginia Tech this May with a degree in Psychology. I haven't completed all of my pre-reqs yet, but my gpa is decent, and I'm a nationally certified EMT. I'm nearly done with my application, but a little nervous that my references won't submit their letters in time :/ let me know how your process is going!
Hang in there! Like I mentioned upstream, I didn't hear anything until November 16 of last year, and somehow here I am in my first year of the program.
The waiting is absolutely brutal, but compared to another program I was looking at (where the app was due a month earlier than UVA and then you didn't get a decision until two months AFTER UVA let everyone know), they've really got their act together, and the wait is worth it.

I can just answer your question on here :) I'm actually applying to the CNL program currently, so I don't know if our applications would be any different, but mine still says "submitted" also. I've called about it because I was under the impression it was supposed to change to say "under review" when it is under review, but the Dean said that that was not the case. Who knows! Best of luck!
I am stalking your page because I figure once they get your interviews out they will start with the NP ones next They said for our program interviews would be Dec 4 and 5th. So I am in the same boat as you all anxious and waiting. Have any of your apps turned to under review? Wondering if checking everyday is worth it or if I am driving myself insane I won't tell you how many times I refresh my email a day! :)
