Hello, All!
I figured I would start a new thread for people applying to the UVA CNL Program for 2016. I have to admit I'm pretty nervous about applying, and I really hope it all works out. I'm graduating from Virginia Tech this May with a degree in Psychology. I haven't completed all of my pre-reqs yet, but my gpa is decent, and I'm a nationally certified EMT. I'm nearly done with my application, but a little nervous that my references won't submit their letters in time :/ let me know how your process is going!

Hi everyone! I'm a current first-year CNL and I just wanted to wish you all good luck with the application process. Don't worry if you haven't gotten an invitation to interview yet. It isn't done in any sort of priority order -- there are multiple faculty members who review applications separately, and it is a busy time of year with finals coming up. I wasn't invited to interview until a few weeks after some others were and it all worked out alright :)
If you have any questions about the program, let me know! I'll try to check in occasionally.
Hey guys, I had interview & I can't wait the final notice and those of you who are still waiting, Please be patient since the interview goes till Mid- December before they announce the final results at the end of the month. I know how you all are feeling and yet counting down is too hard until tomorrow becomes today . Good luck to all of us and God bless !!

I just had my interview, and I believe it went well.
My interviewer was very nice, very informative, and did a really nice job of helping me to feel comfortable about the interview itself.
For me, answering the questions felt natural and I really only needed to remember to stay calm. I'm even more excited about the program after my interview, and have my fingers crossed for all of us as we get closer to decisions :)
