I figured I would start a new thread for people applying to the UVA CNL Program for 2016. I have to admit I'm pretty nervous about applying, and I really hope it all works out. I'm graduating from Virginia Tech this May with a degree in Psychology. I haven't completed all of my pre-reqs yet, but my gpa is decent, and I'm a nationally certified EMT. I'm nearly done with my application, but a little nervous that my references won't submit their letters in time :/ let me know how your process is going!
Hi! I'm actually not at all sure how my interview went and it's making me super nervous. It was very conversational but I just have no idea. I feel like everyone who got in in the past felt really great about theirs it's going to be a long two weeks!
Congrats on getting an interview to begin with! I couldn't agree more, these next couple of weeks are going to last a long time. The reality is, unfortunately, that none of us truly know what's going to happen until it happens :/ Best of luck to you, I hope it works out for all of us!
I remember my interview being very conversational. I spent the whole month afterwards second guessing my answers AND in the end the outcome was great. Good luck to you all

Does anyone know if we will be finding out at midnight on the 20th like in previous years? My interviewer mentioned something about the 20th but I wasn't sure if anyone has heard anything different
I haven't heard anything yet, but my interviewer mentioned something about the end of the month. I'm really hoping it'll be the 20th like it has been in the past. I'm so nervous, I feel like this wait is lasting forever!
So this is unrelated but I applied the Acute Care NP program at UVA and when I emailed Chris in admissions today he told me we would be able to view their decision at the end of the week which is the 19th. I wonder if we find out with you all on the 20th. So my question is did they tell you if it would be at midnight like it was for me with the CNL program 2 years ago or during the day?
To my knowledge they haven't said specifically when we would hear (beyond the mention of the 20th on the website), though I also haven't specifically asked. I did ask if the longer interview process this year would mean a delay in decisions, but they said they didn't anticipate that being the case and at the very latest we would hear by the 22nd.
Ok thanks. Yeah all his email said for my program was we would know at end of week. I assume they are posting ours at the same time as yours. Ugh the wait. Good luck to all of you. The CNL program changed my life for the better :)
