Greetings!
I am creating this post for those planning on applying for the UTSW Nurse Residency Program that will start July 2023. Feel free to chat, connect, or ask questions. Good luck to everyone!
Are there any other out-of-state people here planning on applying to UTSW? I wonder how many applications they get every cohort.
I had an interview with acute medical track on Wednesday and got an offer from neuro unit yesterday. Can other units extend an offer even if I accpet an offer from neurology unit? The recruiter said I have 48 hours to accept an offer but I can wait for other units if I want to, because recruiter knew I also had an interview with PCU. but I am little concerned that I will miss a chance to secure the job.
@David8380 Yes, you can get multiple offers from other units. It is also common practice and acceptable to accept a job offer and later retract it if you find another opportunity. As long as the offer isn't contract binding, you can just be professional about it. They'll just move on to the next candidate down the list.

I had my interview for the ED as well. It went really good too! They were so nice & engaged. I don't know when to expect a call, but she did say it could take a couple of weeks

Just wanted to give a heads up that they call to extend an offer! I almost didn't answer because it was a random number so answer any calls

Does anyone know how the ambulatory residency works? I've been told it's 7am-6pm shifts but also been told 8-5. Just confused and interviewing with them tomorrow.
