UTSW Nurse Residency July 2023

Greetings!

I am creating this post for those planning on applying for the UTSW Nurse Residency Program that will start July 2023. Feel free to chat, connect, or ask questions. Good luck to everyone! 

Are there any other out-of-state people here planning on applying to UTSW? I wonder how many applications they get every cohort.

I really hate that!! I know they were hiring 1-2 for L&D, and my friend was offered the position. I really have no clue how my interview went because I completely BLANKED right after.

U heard they were hiring 20 positions in the ED, and interviewing 50-ish... my interview with them is tomorrow so imma be prayin hard!

so your friend received one of the 2 positions being offered? if possible, can you please let us how how soon she heard back from the recruiter and if it was an email or a call?

the recruiter calls you and offers a position, then he would email you the offer letter

So it looks like this is the week for offers in OR. Tomorrow is the last day for OR interviews. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and positive vibes. Please share if AND when you get a response from OR. I will do the same.

I interviewed for the ICU yesterday. During my interview they told me they had interviews scheduled until Friday, so I could expect to hear back from the recruiter either late this week or early next week. They ended up calling me this morning with offers. Just in case anyone is still waiting.. hopefully you'll hear back by early next week??
