UTMB Summer 2018

I just wanted to start a group for those applying to UTMB nursing summer 2018 start! I didn't see a thread and figured there was some of us who could use one!

I have already taken my teas and will be submitting my application soon! This would be a great place for us to compare timelines and answer any questions I'm sure we all have! I look forward to hearing from other applicants.

Just got a waitlist email. I don't even understand. Of course I'm grateful but I was on the waitlist for the fall and thought without a doubt I'd get in this summer. I honestly don't understand at all how they came to this decision but now I'm just praying I get in.

Have you applied anywhere else? Did you apply for Fall 2018 here at UTMB? I didn't because I honestly thought I was in!

Yes I did apply for the Fall 2018 cycle because last fall when I thought I was in and ended up getting waitlisted, I missed the spring deadline and that's why I'm now waiting for summer acceptance. Now that I'm waitlisted for the summer I can't even believe it. I haven't applied anywhere else for the summer but I don't really want to go anywhere else. I love UTMB and all it has to offer and how much it caters to student success. I'm trying to keep my hopes high that I get off the waitlist..

Wow! That's crazy! I wonder if they will pull of the waitlist because remember that email that j_dinh received saying that they were guaranteeing to pull off the list? I guess only time will tell. Meanwhile, I'll start reapplying everywhere, but I think I will be going to Chamberlain. I'm ready to get started asap.

I got a waitlist email earlier today as well. I already applied for the fall and for a couple more schools because who knows what is going to happen. They said that a spot might be available up until the orientation day. I'm grateful too ...but dang.

I also got a waitlist email too yesterday morning. Does anyone know if we can be guaranteed a spot for Fall 2018?

Wow :unsure: I wonder why when it's people who got in with lower stats. Do you think it was your essay?
