Hi future nurses! I didn't see a discussion board for the summer term of 2017, so I decided to make one myself(: Let's use this forum to discuss grades, TEAS, and the application process. This does include venting! We all know how anxiety kicks in when there's a bump in the road. Good luck to everyone that is applying!
I can't wait for the application period opens. Anyone that is re-applying, any tips?
I finally submitted my application this past Friday. Now the waiting game starts. The suspense is killing me! I also applied for the ADN Spring 2017 program at Alvin Community College as a backup plan. UTMB is my first choice because they offer a BSN, but I'll know if I get accepted into ACC way before I hear back from UTMB. As far as my stats go, I have an overall GPA of 3.62 and TEAS score of 82.7%.
I want to wish everyone the best of luck! Also, does anyone know when they will start scheduling interviews, and approximately when we will know if we are accepted?
Ok guys I need guidance! I'm not 100% sure anyone can answer this but I'm a tad worried. I submitted my application this week and today (at 4:30 😳) I received an email about my transcript entry not being correct. I have to wait until first thing Monday morning to fix it and re-submit. My question is, the deadline is Monday at 11:59 so as long as I submit it to NCAS by that deadline am I good? I'm freaking out a bit so any reassurance would've appreciated!ðŸ˜
Yes, as long as it is submitted by midnight. However, remember that NCAS has a different time zone. I went to the open house and she stressed the importance of knowing that NCAS had a different time zone than us. Technically you want to submit everything by 11pm (our time). I would also call and make sure that you are filling it out correctly early in the morning, so you have to time to fix any other issues too! I hope this helped!

Yes they will email you a link and a code to the supplemental application. All really basic quick questions. They send it usually a few days after all of your transcripts are verified.
