Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for UTMB Summer 2016 so I decided to make one. I guess because it's a little early since they just open for applications. This is the first time I use NursingCAS so I'm not quite sure how it work yet. If anyone is familiar with NursingCAS, could you please share your experience? I sent in my transcript 3 days ago and right now I'm working on my personal statement. I saw some previous threads where people mentioned about MyStar and supplemental application/document? Is it something you will receive after you submit everything on NursingCAS?
Any information will help! Thanks in advance :)
Question for those who already submit their applications. Did you just download the TEAS pdf from ATI website and then just upload it to NursingCas right? At least that's what I did
Did you take the TEAS under UTMB or a different school? I took it originally for another school, and I asked at the open house, if you did do it this way you have to request a transcript be sent to UTMB from ATI
On the site it gives you the option to put will take on the application as far as the teas is concerned.... So can we just submit them directly to the nursing school
I would call them and ask. At the open house they said to call or e mail with any questions. Ask for their registrars office.
I just applied! Woo! I also applied for their fall 2015 start and received an interview but circumstances came up and I couldn't attend. They did send an email during the application process last year offering students applying for the fall 2015 start to also apply for the summer 2015 start, because they had extra seats for that incoming class. A friend of mine with lower scores than me was accepted pretty quikly into the summer start. This leads me to think that not a lot of people apply for the summer start and the admission criteria is relaxed as opposed to the fall admission selection. I'm hopeful!

it should be in the same section where you upload your TEAS score. Under Program Materials --> Documents
