UTMB Summer 2016

Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for UTMB Summer 2016 so I decided to make one. I guess because it's a little early since they just open for applications. This is the first time I use NursingCAS so I'm not quite sure how it work yet. If anyone is familiar with NursingCAS, could you please share your experience? I sent in my transcript 3 days ago and right now I'm working on my personal statement. I saw some previous threads where people mentioned about MyStar and supplemental application/document? Is it something you will receive after you submit everything on NursingCAS?

Sure! I was reading past threads last night, and it seems they do it in waves, depending on when you submit your app.

Hi guys, I have a couple of questions.. I'm filling out the NursingCAS app-

Do we need to add references? I saw where it says references are not required, but should I still add them?

What about achievements ? What types of things did you guys add for that ?

I actually leave those blank. Someone told me that you could add references but it's not require and they will not look at it just to be fair. For achievements I guess you can add any awards you got

Thanks! Also, for the transcripts, my school sends them through a website it's all done online- did you guys send them online as well? Or did you find a way to attach that sheet they have you download on NursingCAS? (Sorry so many questions 😣)

No problem! I sent mines online as well. There is an option to upload the form and I put a note to ask them to attach the transcript to the form. It's Lone Star College by the way :)
