UTMB Summer 2016

Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for UTMB Summer 2016 so I decided to make one. I guess because it's a little early since they just open for applications. This is the first time I use NursingCAS so I'm not quite sure how it work yet. If anyone is familiar with NursingCAS, could you please share your experience? I sent in my transcript 3 days ago and right now I'm working on my personal statement. I saw some previous threads where people mentioned about MyStar and supplemental application/document? Is it something you will receive after you submit everything on NursingCAS?

Any information will help! Thanks in advance :)

I called yesterday and was told the review committee will meet up next week.:facepalm:

I'm on the same boat! When I called last week, they said not to worry because they will not be finished completely until March! We can still hang on to hope!

When I emailed Elizabeth Botello the first week on January, she said decisions should be finalized by the end of this month. I guess it's taking longer than expected.

Well since it is taking a bit longer than anyone expected then we can just assume the facebook page is being delayed too. If yhere is anyone that is looking for roommates for a place to live just say so.

To all of you guys freaking out (it was me too until recently):

I was accepted Jan 12th after an interview on Dec 15th with the following stats-

GPA- 3.7 overall w/ a 4.0 Science (taking Chem and Statistics this semester to wrap things up)

TEAS- 82.7

No previous degree

And, I applied one day before the deadline on Oct 14th if that matters to anyone wondering.

Just stay positive and hang in there!

I got my acceptance letter in December 2015,I think we need to communicate more frequently.

I wish the fb page would hurry and get made. I don't really like the idea of having to wait last minute knowing where I am going to live. Are you looking in Galveston or commuting from a surrounding area?

Galveston is better since it is closer to the campus.I prefered close proximity if possible a walking distance.
