Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for UTMB Summer 2016 so I decided to make one. I guess because it's a little early since they just open for applications. This is the first time I use NursingCAS so I'm not quite sure how it work yet. If anyone is familiar with NursingCAS, could you please share your experience? I sent in my transcript 3 days ago and right now I'm working on my personal statement. I saw some previous threads where people mentioned about MyStar and supplemental application/document? Is it something you will receive after you submit everything on NursingCAS?
Any information will help! Thanks in advance :)
I received an email this morning from UTMB urging me to get a background clearance for the Texas Board of Nursing. I called the school to ask them about it, and they said I can not be accepted without it To those who have been accepted, did yall have to complete this before your acceptance? And to everyone waiting anxiously like me, did anyone else receive the email?

Hey yeah it is something we all have to do
Hey guys! I applied and got in for UTMB Summer 2016. Does this mean that I have to start in the summer or can I start in the Fall? And if I have to start in the summer, what is the minimum number of classes I have to take? And if I don't take any classes in the summer, do I have to go through the whole application process again for Fall?
Did you not want to start in the summer? If not, why didn't you apply for the fall only? If you got in for Summer 2016, the official start date is May 9th, with a pretty much set curriculum I believe. I may be wrong, but I don't really think you can pick and choose what classes you take and when. On UTMB's website, you can see what a typical first semester looks like.
