UTMB Spring 2018

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

I know it's super late, but I sent in my NCAS application on 5/22, supplemental application on 5/23, and today 5/24 got my mySTAR login and password.

How is everyone else faring?

Been done since March 28th, just been a long waiting game so the deadline passes and they can send out interview request. Not sure if many pre-nursing student shave allnurses but this thread is alot smaller than prior application pools. Could be a good thing if im right but they did also say not many people apply in the spring

I noticed that, I didn't have enough credits to apply in fall, and there seemed to be a lot more people on here for that round and previous rounds. I didn't hear about allnurses till a classmate who applied before me told me about it.

I'm hoping I have a good chance since I've got a 3.4 GPA and I made an 81.7 overall on TEAS, and experience as an EMT. I knew someone who had a 4.0 GPA though and didn't get in because her personal essay was lacking (her words).

Either way this is the most anxious I've ever been about school!

I have the mystar login now, but now its just the waiting game. I have sent my updated transcripts and now I am just finishing up my spring mini and then ill officially be done with my associates.

Best of luck to you as you finish your spring mini! How long after you applied did you receive your supplemental app?

I received my supplemental application one day after I submitted NCAS app. Mystart portal login came after about 2 days.

@mani1391 - I did not receive my supplemental application til almost 2 weeks later! Once I filled it out and paid, I received my mystar login about 3 days later.
