UTMB Spring 2018

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

I finally got my supplemental form. It took about 2 weeks from the day I submitted my NCAS application. I filled it out and submitted already. Its starting to feel so real and the process just takes forever! I hope we all get in!

I've just submitted my supplemental application.

My stats is GPA: 3.68. TEAS score: 77.3%

I'm so nervous for this.

Good luck everyone! I just finished the semester and am retaking my TEAS on Monday. After that, I will be submitting my application!

For those sending updated transcripts, I found out that San Jac sent my transcripts prior to posting grades even though I specifically requested them to be sent after grades were posted. I'm not sure if it was a fluke for me only, or if multiple people may have experienced this. I had to request my updated transcript to be sent again today with the posted grades. FYI for those with San Jac transcripts...

I submitted my application on the 8th and haven't recieved my NCAS application yet. :/

I submitted my NCAS application on the 17th and received my UTMB Supplemental application the next day. I submitted that application right away. Does anyone know how long it takes to get MyStar Portal information?

I forgot to add, my transcript was received by NCAS by end of March. I was just waiting for the TEAS score. Maybe, that's why I received supplemental application quickly.

I received my supplemental application on March 30 and submitted it the 31st. I then received my login for MyStar on April 3.

I have yet to get the UTMB Supplemental application. It says it is still waiting on my transcript. Are we supposed to send our transcripts?

You're supposed to get all the colleges you have gone to to send your transcript to NursingCAS. There is an attachment that you can attach when you email the schools that shows where to mail the transcripts to. NursingCAS will then verify the transcripts once they receive them and you will get a notification when they have been. You should then receive that supplemental application a few days or so after everything has been verified.
