Howdy! I couldn't find a thread for Spring 2016, so I figured I would start my own. I'm having trouble with this whole application thing (mostly stress!), so I would love to talk to others going through this same process!
For those with houses or renting houses, any suggestions on realtor or advice on how you found the house I'd appreciate! I also have a dog which makes renting a house really desirable for me.
I am looking for a house and it's hard because some areas are shady. I look on craigslist, homes.com, Zillow or any website possible. When it gets closer to January, I will start looking at the realtors. I'm going to Sand and Sea because they rent houses on the west end which I prefer so that I can get away. My advice would be not to rent until you see the place! I learned my lesson the hard way.

Thanks. I will look into sand and sea. I have seen that before while looking around. Yeah I figured people start giving notice 60 days ahead or for beach type houses once the summer months are over. Thanks for the info!
Hi guys! First off, congratulations to all of you who have been accepted! I am considering applying for the Summer 2016 start - but would be commuting from Houston. A big question I have is, where are their clinicals held? In Galveston as well or Houston? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I asked them about this during my interview. When they assign clinicals, they try to take into account where you are living. They have clinicals in Galveston, Houston, and the greater Houston area including Sugarland. While they try to make the locations convenient and they have some of the first picks of most hospitals, but they do only have so many spots. So, you may have some clinicals in Galveston or Sugarland, etc., but they will try to keep most of them close to you.

That sounds pretty good, thank you for your response!

I think there are four or five of us active on this tread that are waiting to hear, but I am sure there are more out there. Anyone else heard anything this week?
