UTMB Spring 2016

Howdy! I couldn't find a thread for Spring 2016, so I figured I would start my own. I'm having trouble with this whole application thing (mostly stress!), so I would love to talk to others going through this same process!

@Valxoxo7 I'd say a little over a week, almost 2. I got accepted 9/1 and they gave me until midnight on 9/13 to accept/decline.

I'm still waiting. I called UTMB today and they said it's going to take another 2 weeks for the rest of us to find out

Hi guys, I am doing the app for summer 16, and I have a couple of questions.

Do we need to add references? I saw where it says references are not required, but should I still add them?

What about achievements ? What types of things did you guys add for that ?

Hey there! 😊 To answer your question, no you do not have to add any references or a letter of recommendation. The committee will not look at those things when making their selection. They try to make the playing field as equal as possible. As for achievements, you can add anything even if you think it's minor. I included achievements from when I was a waitress haha.

I went and put my deposit down on an efficiency apt on Ferry Road like 2 wk's ago.

The red light that you see, is because it acts as a heat lamp. And the last couple of pictures is the Alumni Field House which is pretty big! The pictures online made it seem small. I can't wait to start working out there! 💪💪💪

I asked about the facebook page and also the new student guide. UTMB says everything should be going out soon for all accepted.
